Roadtrip... Well I guess as long as I've got my camera, Internet connection, and laptop I really can blog from anywhere... gotta love technology. Sounds... My favorite gadget besides my cameras these days is my iPhone, which also has a camera... and like Chase Jarvis says "the best camera is the one you have on you." Shots like this and this wouldn't have been possible without it... till tomorrow... enjoy...

Day-nineteen...

Serenity... This is the display fountain at the Great Outdoors a cool little plant and garden shop across the street from the SEU campus, check out their cafe, the best Cuban sandwiches in Austin...

Cool water effect... no tripod, no ND grad filter, no problem with digital and an overcast day... just drop the ISO to the lowest setting, raise the aperture to its smallest setting, VR helps, and prop the camera on something stable like a fence... my tip of the day :). Till tomorrow... enjoy...

Day-seventeen...

Evil... pure evil... This is a 309 degree thermal fuse... namely the thermal fuse out of my dryer which has been out of commission all week while I waited for parts. I installed the replacement fuse yesterday which took all of 5 minutes, I thought I was finished with this issue... wrong... it blew again just after one load of laundry... sigh... till tomorrow... enjoy...
